This course is designed to provide students a foundation in the study and understanding of literature. The course
establishes a foundation of literary terms and approaches and will give an overview of various genres. This course
satisfies the literature elective in the General Education Curriculum.
Prerequisite: ENGL 1213 English Grammar and Composition II
